Grande Anse beach and its surroundings
The Kaz Frida overlooks the vegetation and the Indian Ocean, via the bay of Grande Anse with its wild charm bordered by coconut trees.
During the austral winter (from June to September) you can observe Humpback whales from the terrace: these mammals travel thousands of kilometers from Antarctica to the warm waters of Reunion Island, to mate and give birth to their calves.
Grande Anse was recently ranked in the top 10 most beautiful beaches in France. Families enjoy gathering there for picnics, many sports activities are organized in the evenings and on weekends (jogging, yoga classes, Pilates, etc.).
A trail starting from the residence will soon allow the most athletic to reach the beach on foot with a 15-minute walk.
The nearby Piton Grande Anse beach is a beautiful hiking trail for beginners, with a breathtaking view of the ocean.
Food lovers will be delighted to discover an excellent restaurant directly on the beach, as well as to learn about Kaz Frida's proximity to a prestigious 5-star hotel just a five-minute walk away, allowing you to enjoy a renowned spa and one of the best restaurants in Reunion, or simply enjoy a cocktail upon returning from the beach.
More broadly, Kaz Frida is located very close to Saint Pierre (15 minutes by car) and is at the gateway to the beautiful wild south of Reunion: Saint Joseph (15 min), Saint Philippe (45 min) and its lava road (1 hour).
